Great for older kids who want to count to ten
Great for older kids who want to count to ten
it helped my friends and I (we are 12) to count 😀
Kids can't play any of the games because the ads cover everything they suppose to tap on.
Ads are located over (on top of; above; restricting) game play tap locations. Children learning to count will vigorously tap on ads in excitement of counting, you can count on that. Solution: Add a ads bar below the game play. This will allow you to collect you ads funds, and it is still located next to the high tap location. Please correct this, for this app is a great learning tool for our youth. Thank you.
The game could be decent, but it is really aggravating and dickish to put their adds in the exact same spot that a young child is smashing his fingers. Kids can't play the game without accidentally opening the ads.
This app was somewhat great and entertaining for my 2 year old while learning to count. However, now they have placed banner ads directly over the play area, making it impossible to utilize. Worthless.
My 3yrold likes this. We dont seem to have the problems that other reviewers have with clicking on the ads (i guess my child knows where to click?). But it gets old. Child gets bored w not much to do. Hence 3 star rating.
This app places pieces a child needs to play the game right near adds and offers to buy games.
Horrible. Ads placed in the exact area your little one needs to touch in order to play the game. Blatantly takes advantage of children.
Terrible. The only purpose of this game is to trick kids into clicking on the banner ad. There's a large banner ad at the bottom of the screen with fish jumping up barely clearing it. The goal is to touch the fish as they come up. Most of the time kids miss and click on the ad. There is no educational value in this game, just a despicable trick to get your kid to click on the ad.
This app is an advertising trap. The games for kids have adds at the bottom that are active! Yeah, tap the fish! Just don't hit the giant ad at the bottom that is covering the fish or you get whisked away to purchase an app. These kind of apps should be banned.
I understand supporting apps with advertising, especially when giving them away for free, but this app appears to be designed for little fingers to click on ads driving. You can't even complete the first counting game because the final "fish" appear underneath the advertising. Super bad if this was a design flaw, terrible if it was intentional.
Ads should be targeted slightly better. Advertising rated R horror movies to my 3 year old??? I do not recommend.
Buying an app for your toddler means having to weigh how entertaining it is against how many adverts/in-app purchases they might click on. This app is a minefield of these things as soon as it is opened, which makes it impossible for my toddler to use without my constant hovering to fix when he gets frustrated because the app took him somewhere he did not want to go. This app is unusable in it's current state.
So many ads that child clicks them over and over again interrupting the game. Want you to purchase ad free version for $1.99, not worth that
Way too many inappropriate adds.
none of the annoying force you to buy me stuff. works great and my daughter loves it, could be more engaging after the first game, but for a three year old... it is a curiosity holder.
This app is good. My son likes it. He hasn't learnt numbers yet but it would be much better if adds can be removed.
If you are single this could be the app for you but not for your kids. My 4 year old keeps hitting an add for single girls because they put this huge add right where he is supposed to touch the screen for play. I get the whole add thing but why would they would put that kind of add on a little kids game. Not only is it not so good for the kids but the people paying for the adds are loosing too. If the ads were a little smaller, in a better place and geared for the audience my review would be much different. I really don't think there is any point in talking about the game as it's set up now.
I'm ok with ads but they are in a bad place and in the way. Have an ad pop up at the beginning and end of the game. The banner ads are in the way of the game.
My son uses this app and he is not even 2 years old! He loves it and it reinforces numbers 1-10. The app has several number games. Definitely worth downloading for teaching counting.
My brother can't stop touching adds Take them away NOW!!!!!!!
Change the ads banner place meant it is terrible I've only had this game for my brother for about a minuet & I'm already complaining
Great learning tool for preschool
Great concept but to many ads. :-(
My kids like this game, but the ads are in such a horrible place! My kids inadvertently hit the banners while trying to complete the game. The phone invariably gets brought to me to "fix." Also, it runs super slowly on the iPhone 3. Looking forward to finding a new game my kids will like so I can take this one off.
This is interactive for children but sometimes they hit the banner. This gets annoying and disrupts progress.
Another piece of garbage developed by TabTale. Loaded with ads and my child hits the ads all the time instead of playing the actual game.
Why on Earth would an app put banners right over the tap area of a children's game. Added tried once now deleting. Too bad looked like it could be a great learning app.
Agree wi ads comments - detracts from pleasure and educational value
The app is good but the ad banner it horrible
Banners all over the screen. Don't buy this pos
When I first downloaded the game, my kids enjoyed playing it and we're actually learning their numbers. But the "updates" are actually small banner ads placed directly over where the buttons are for each game. I cannot revert to the older version, so now the only way to eliminate the ads are to purchase the "full"ap. I don't like it that much. Sadly, this ap is worthless.
I disliked the app soon after I downloaded it. The kids didn't like it either, but it's a matter of taste. Since then I get a message on my iPhone every once in awhile saying Unable to purchase - Counting 123 etc. I removed the app, deleted it from iTunes etc. never mind the app lists free. Junk!
I paid twice to have the ads removed & they still show up.....what a disappointment & total ripoff!!
My kids were so disinterested in this app. They are 2&4. I also didn't like that it had banner ads. Why would anyone put banner ads in a kids app? Ads for travel, grocery, other non- kid friendly apps.
I purchased the upgrade to try and get rid of the ads. But there is still a prominent link to buy more apps that disrupts my daughter's play. The settings do not allow me to make the game more playable. It could be a great app. Too bad it got disrupted.
But they are still showing up. I am very disappointed.
After buying this app they add Ads and charge an additional $.99 which I paid because my kid loved the app. I got my new phone, reinstall the app and they now want to charge another $.99?!!! Sorry, you had a good thing going before you got greedy. Delete!!!
Really?? Seriously?? If I could I would give zero stars since the updated version placed an ad banner in the way of game play. Several of my young children played this game often and really enjoyed it but now it's unplayable for little fingers! You want me to buy any of your games?? Well you shouldn't have been underhanded and dirty by offering a free version that's playable then "update" and make it unplayable by putting ad banners for little fingers to click in the way! I won't be buying ANY of your games now! And hopefully my review will sway any others to not purchase them either. This game and all others by you will/are DELETED!!
Greed made them update the app with an ad banner that covers a huge chunk of the interactive part if the screen. Deleted the app. Used to be one of my son's favourites.
The new update is crap. 1st you put the ad banner exactly were the kids are suppose to hit the screen, I understand you want to make money but this makes you app worthless to me, 2nd I don't understand why you would add ads to an app for children. I've deleted the app and it was one of my daughters favorites but it's pointless for her to attempt to play it. She will spend more time out of the app then in it.
I downloaded the new update and it turned out to be all ads on the bottom of every page that if pressed, take you out of the app. I work with special needs children and now the program is basically unplayable. Do not update if you still want to use this.
The game was really nice until the new update. The ad is in the way of clicking the objects. Then they wanna charge to remove the ads. Very selfish I'm deleting the app!
Daughter loves it
This is a wonderful game. My grandson loves it!!
We like it. My son enjoys it. It is very interactive.
Not too easy not too hard my grand kids love it
My 3 year old really enjoys it.
